Where are we looking?

We have identified a number of locations of primary interest for the next two years. Please click on the map to view the full list. However, we are willing to make allowances for an exceptional site outside of this location if we feel it is an opportunity not to be missed.

We will give you a decision on an introduction quickly and in writing if the property is of interest to the Group.

Why Choose Us?

All of our stores are company owned and run under management whom are directly employed by us. All leaseholds are held by the parent company and all landlord contact is direct to our own in house estates team at our Bishop’s Stortford office.

We represent a strong and growing covenant for any Landlord looking to place a high quality takeaway or restaurant within their parade. In fact, we act as an anchor trader on many of the parades we operate on, raising the quality of the parade by the look and design of our stores. We believe that having us as a tenant, increases the foot fall to the shopping areas we operate from, increasing the value of the asset held by our landlords.

Our stores are engineered to a very high standard as we look to give our customers an unrivalled customer experience within our sector. A typical investment in a store is £180,000 - £200,000, ensuring a professional well fitted store which will look fresh throughout the term of the lease. Our current design and shop fitting standards rival any of the major food retailers on the high street, as you can see from our photographs.

Do you have the perfect site for us?

We are the largest and fastest growing fish and chip shop chain in the UK. We’d like to remain that way. To facilitate this we need a constant supply of excellent takeaway and QSR locations – across the South, South East and South West of England. We’re looking to open a further 4 stores in 2014, 5 in 2015 and a minimum of 10 stores a year from 2016 onwards. Do you have a property that you would like us to consider or could you suggest a prime retail space that you think would be suitable? Our search for the best locations will see us concentrate on units from a top line of Milton Keynes down across the entire South of England.

We want to bring modern, family friendly fish and chips to the whole of the South of England. Your challenge is to help us find the locations.

  • Maximum size: 1,500 sq ft
  • Shop frontage: minimum: 17 ft (5 metres)
  • Rents: up to £30,000pa considered
  • User class: A5
  • Leasehold or freeholds considered
  • Typical location: local neighbourhood shopping
  • centres with good customer access
  • Customer parking: adjacent to the store
  • Population: minimum 6000 households within a 3 mile radius of the shop
  • New housing developments are of interest
  • Preferred neighbours: express supermarkets, banks, coffee shops, other food offerings
  • Accommodation would be advantageous

Restaurant/quick service restaurant unit

  • Minimum size: 1,500 sq ft
  • Maximum size: 2,500 sq ft
  • Shop frontage minimum: 17 ft (5 metres)
  • Rents: up to £40,000pa considered
  • User class: A3, A5
  • Leasehold or freehold considered
  • Typical location: prime high street, neighbour-hood shopping centres or retail park location
  • Customer parking: car parking within 50 yards of the site.
  • Population: minimum 7000 households within a 3 mile radius of the site
  • Preferred neighbours – supermarkets, banks, coffee shops, other food offerings
  • Other information: we will also consider tourist areas, coastal towns & market towns.
  • Accommodation would be advantageous
