What our Managers & Assistant Managers Do


We want you to thrive whilst working in one of our busy shops. We think the only way that you can possible achieve this is if we leave you alone to get on with it. People need responsibility, trust and support to flourish. Our Managers are hands on so why would we want to burden them with pointless company tasks and form filling. How can we ever expect to offer our customers the best service if our managers are constantly filling in forms. It doesn't make sense does it?

Managing the great people that work in your shop is one of the greatest challenges any Manager can have. Imagine building and crafting a successful team under your leadership that can take your business to places that you never thought possible. We understand that Managers have to wear many hats from a shoulder to cry on, to stock controller to accountants to marriage councillors to strict disciplinarian. Which is why we offer you support at every level.

 

You will start at 9.00 am, although many of our hardworking Managers choose to be in earlier, by preparing our specially selected potatoes for chipping. All of our chips are made freshly on site as we believe that this offers our customers the healthiest, freshest product we can produce. We choose our potatoes on quality and taste and not on price.

After the potatoes have been prepared you would then start to portion the ( In our opinion! ) the best quality Icelandic Cod that we can source. All of the Cod will be filleted and then it's up to you and your skill to portion the sizes correctly.

After the Cod has been successfully portioned and prepared you would then start on any preparation that needs to be carried out. This can be anything from cutting our succulent, delicious fresh Norfolk Banham Chickens to basting our loin ribs in our own secret recipe!

As we know how hard you work we like to say thank you by giving you a selection of fantastic benefits and rewards.

We have teamed up with red letter day to give you the opportunity to do something that you've always dreamed about. This could be anything from sky diving, driving a Ferrari round a race track to spending a day in a relaxing health spa.
